_Job Description Summary_
Responsible for overall territory management for the sale and use of expanded clay lightweight aggregate, including, but not limited to, increasing customer orders, developing solid customer relationships, and prospecting for new customers. Also must generate sales for new applications for the use of expanded clay lightweight aggregate. All activities must strengthen market share and increase sales revenues.
Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers.
Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with current customers including technical support.
Generate opportunities and conduct group presentations for product application promotion.
Oversee Administrative sales functions for sales program.
Participate in hands-on technical training with customers and the other sales team members.
Analyze market trends and develop action plan to capitalize on market changes.
Prepare and present territory results, trends, and forecasts at sales meetings.
Work at trade show booths to promote product applications.
Prepare price quotation, credit applications, and finalize sales contracts, as well as order entry.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
_Requirements_
Four year college degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
Five years relevant experience and/or training in the lightweight aggregate industry.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation.
Prior experience in concrete, aggregate, or masonry industry or related field.
Proven sales results expertise.
Excellent customer service oriented skills
Computer literate, especially MS Office suite, , Outlook, etc.
Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
Must possess dependable personal vehicle.
